Sale price Price $1,250.00 Regular price

Locating a 1961-D mint state Franklin in high grade is extremely tough. Bag marks are a huge issue with Denver mint Franklins and finding examples in MS66 or higher is extremely rare. The 1961-D is the eighth rarest "Denver" mint Franklin in the series holding a population of only 28 coins. Denver mint Franklins are extremely rare in high grade condition.

This example is breathtaking offering an assortment of shades on the obverse. Sunburst-orange, teal, forest-green, hot-pink and golden hues smother the obverse surfaces. The reverse is essentially brilliant with light hints of powder blue hues. The luster is extremely strong making the color pop off the extremely clean surfaces. This beauty earned a CAC label as an added bonus!
