1958-D FRANKLIN NGC MS 66 * FBL CAC
This absolutely stunning 1958-D Franklin half dollar offers bright neon hues on both obverse and reverse! NGC granted this beauty a STAR designation due to the beautiful color toning this gem features. If you come across a Franklin half dollar with color this intense and bright it rightfully deserves every inch of that star. This is a rare find! NGC has only certified 28 examples to date in MS66*FBL and has certified 401 examples in MS66FBL. NGC is extremely tough granting STAR designations to Franklin half dollars. The eye-appeal has to be ALL THERE! This was actually a tough coin to photograph. There is much more color than meets the eye in my photography. I guess more the merrier! Intense tangerine, hot-pink, neon green and canary-yellow hues take center stage on the obverse. The reverse is equally as breathtaking as the obverse with an additional hint of bright purple hues. Franklin's cheek and the Liberty bell are smooth as satin. The strike is exceptional offering bold crisp full bell lines. If you are looking for a knockout 1958-D Franklin half dollar in star quality condition with a CAC certification as well THIS is your chance to pick up an absolutely stunning example for the date and grade. One to tuck away for years and years to come!
