First issue in the Franklin half dollar series in rare form!

If you think it is easy to come across a 1948-P mint state Franklin half dollar in MS66FBL with attractive color you are WRONG! I have handled so many darn ugly 1948-P mint state Franklin half dollars in MS66FBL condition. Blast-white spot-free blazers and incredible color toned specimens are extremely tough to come across. Extremely tough! If anyone tells you different please ask them if they specialize in Franklin half dollars and more than likely they will not.

You are in luck though! Franklin half dollars are one of my specialties. This is actually my all time favorite coinage series and if you stay tuned I promise to share with you more knowledge is this phenomenal series. The Franklin halves offer so much rarity when you know where to look. One thing to always remember is eye-appeal is KEY!

This stunning 1948-P Franklin half dollar in MS66FBL CAC is now available and it is a stunner! Layers and layers of color smother the obverse and reverse. Really cool antique shades of bright golden-honey outlined by an intense bright lavender with flecks of tangerine and petal pink brighten up the obverse. The luster is intense making the color pop off the surfaces. The reverse is framed with an intense tangerine with flecks of fiery red and blue hues. The bell lines are bold and undisturbed.

NGC has certified 170 examples to date in MS66FBL. Very few of these examples offer extremely attractive color toning like this jewel right here. An added bonus is this lovely jewel has a CAC certification label. With the low pop, rare quality and condition this is quite the find right here. A great example to tuck away!
